Ophiopogon is a consultancy specialising in helping occupational pension schemes with strategy and trusteeship. This was set up by Trevor and Mark Jones following Trevor’s early retirement in 2003 after a long career as an economist, finance director and pension fund director. Through Ophiopogon, Trevor was Chairman of Trustees for several pension funds of UK’s top 200 companies. However, Trevor decided to retire properly in 2009 to give himself time to help with the grandchildren which now number seven. Mark had previously moved to IPD where he is now Head of Indices. Trevor and Mark will decide during 2011 in what direction to take Ophiopogon Ltd..
